Another Batch of Poetry

Another Batch of Poetry

I’m still having a blast sending my good friend daily poems. Just super-simple ones, loosely based on a haiku style (which limits syllables used). I decided to share another back with you. Just for fun.

Jan. 3rd, 2018

Don’t explain. Just be
Others will understand you
Or they won’t. No mind

Dec. 18th, 2017

Find a roof top. Sit there. Rest
Monday, during lunch

Dec. 15th, 2017

Don’t rush. Take your time
Morning only happens once
All moments — just once

Dec. 11th, 2017

The key to life is…
in the breath. Simply the breath
Look no further. Breathe

Dec. 4th, 2017

Wow! That’s fabulous
Oh no! That’s terrible news
Instead: Ahhh… grateful

Nov. 30th, 2017

Why hesitate? Go!
Why dream? Because you are alive!
Why risk? To be agog!

Nov. 28th, 2017

Don’t get too caught up
You aren’t time, mind or body
Nor opinions — phew!

Nov. 27th, 2K07

To have and have not
Good luck or bad luck — which one?
Depends on the mind

Nov. 21st, 2017

Try not to speak — pause
Listen first, so the words can…
cascade, dance and sing

Nov. 14th, 2017

Upside down feeling…
…in my belly from courage
Go! Do something new

Nov. 10th, 2017

Door locked, door open
Which one are you? Do you know?
The wind will tell you
